TC – Terms and Conditions of Sale
These general terms and conditions of sale aim to set out the contractual arrangements between Domaine Château Camponac and the customer, as well as the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the e-commerce site chateaucamponac.com, for the consumer. Purchasing a product or service through this site implies the customer’s unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.
Characteristics of the items offered for sale
The items offered are on those listed on the website www.chateaucamponac.com. These items are offered subject to availability. Each item comes with a description provided by the estate. The photographs are as accurate as possible, but perfect accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
Prices
The prices listed in the catalog are inclusive of all taxes (TTC) in euros, taking into account the VAT applicable on the day of the order, any change in the rate may be reflected in the price of the items. Château Camponac reserves the right to modify its prices any time, it being understood that the price listed in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only one applicable. The indicated prices do not include delivery fees for orders. Shipping costs, customs duties and formalities are the responsibility of the customers.
Orders
By placing an order on this website, the customer can at any time view the details of their order and its total price during the ordering process and correct any errors before confirming it to express their acceptance. The customer will receive a confirmation email of the order.
Domaine Château Camponac retains ownership of the items until full payement for the order has been made, that is, upon receipt of payment for the order. Domaine Château Camponac reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute regarding payment of a previous order or from a customer who does not have the capacity to contract. Any order implies acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the items available for sale.
Payment methods
Payment for purchases can be made using one of the following methods, at the convenience of the customer :

- By bank transfer *
- By Paypal
*Shipping will be carried out after the transfer.
Shipping and delivery times
Any order placed and paid for on the chateaucamponac.com website before 12 p.m. from Monday to Friday ( excluding weekends and public holidays ) will be prepared and shipped the same day, subject to payment validation.
Domaine Château Camponac is committed to delivering orders placed by the customer within the expected timeframes
The indicative delivery times for French customers is as follows :
- France : 2 to 5 working days
- European Union : 3 to 10 working days
- Others : 5 to 20 working days
The customer has 30 working days from the date of shipment of the order to report non-receipt and request the termination of the sale and a refund of the items. After this period, no termination of the sale will be accepted, The customer must verify the good condition of the delivered items. Any anomalies ( missing items, damaged packages, broken items, etc… ) must be reported to Domaine Marcel Lapierre within 3 days of receipt.
Circumstances beyond our control
We cannot be held responsible for losses, damages, errors or failure to deliver a shipment if it is established that there are circumstances beyond our control. By circumstances beyond our control, we mean, among other things :
- Force majeure events, such as earthquakes, cyclones, storm, floods, wars, road, train or airplane accidents, embargos and so on.
- Any defects or peculiarities related to the nature of the shipment, even if known to us at the time of acceptance
- Any act, omission, or negligence of any third party, such as the recipients, any interested third, any customs or other government official, postal services, any carrier or the other third party to whom the shipment may be entrusted by our carrier to serve areas not directly served by the carrier, even if the sender did not request or was not informed of the use of a third party
Breakage during shipment
If a package arrives at the recipient’s address damaged ( breakage of one or more bottles ), the recipient must refuse the package. The carrier will inform Domaine Château Camponac. Upon receiving this information, Domaine Château Camponac commits to immediately resending an identical package to the recipient. In no case can the customer demand a refund for the product and delivery free.
Right of withdrawal : exchange or return
Customers, non- professional individuals, have a fourteen-day withdrawal period form the delivery of their order to return the product to Domaine Château Camponac for exchange or refund without penalty and without return shipping costs. Return shipping fees are covered by Domaine Château Camponac. The customer will be fully refunded as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after the date they exercised their right of withdrawal
Exchange and return conditions for refund
The returned items must be intact, unopened, and in perfect condition. They must be sent back in a condition that allows for their resale. The customer must keep proof of the package deposit with the service provider handling the return. Without this proof, no exchange or refund can be made in the event of the package being lost.
Liability
Domaine Château Camponac’s liability cannot be held in case of non- performance of the contract due to out-of-stock or product unavailability, force majeure events, including total or partial strikes, flooding, fire, or other natural disasters, and, in general, any events that prevent the proper fulfillment pf the order.
Electronic signature
The ” OK ” associated within the authentification and non- repudiation process, as well as the protection of the integrity of the messages, constitutes an electronic signature. This electronic signature has the same value as a handwritten signature between the parties.
Evidence
The computerized records kept in Domaine Château Camponac’s computer systems under reasonable security conditions will be considered evidence of the communications, orders and payments that have taken place between the parties.
Amicable Settlement of Disputes
The general terms and conditions of sale outlined above are governed by French law. In case of difficulties in applying these conditions, we invite you to seek an amicable solution by contacting us first. Failing that, French courts will have jurisdiction.
